Installing of pipeline using HDD method

The following method allows to install pipeline from:

-          plastic like “Uponor”

-          steel pipe

-          iron pipe

Furthermore, installation of several communication pipelines at the same time, and installation of new pipelines parallel to existing.

We offer services in repairs of any underground communications, including installation of small diameter communications within preexisting communications, and exchange of exising communication for a larger diameter communications.

The technology allows installation of pipeline:

-          depth up to 25 meters

-          distance from 300 to 500 meters

-          diameter up to 600 mm

By utilizing modern location systems “DigiTrak” allows us to monitor position and location of drill head, which in terns allows to change direction, depth, and avoid obstacles.

 

Short description of the process

The horizontal directional drilling is completed in several stages. The horizontal directional drill equipped with location systems, completes a pilot hole according to specified trajectory. Then the pilot hole is expanded to a specified diameter, and the product pipeline is pulled inside.

During the expansion stage, the bore hole is filled with drilling fluid, which helps to cool down the drilling tools, reduce friction, and reinforce the wall of the bore hole.

The final installation stage, takes only several hours.
